Privacy Policy

WorkPay (“the app”, “we”) helps you log work and see an estimate of your pay. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

  • Data you enter — work entries, job sites, rates, ledger items and settings. This is stored on your device. It is uploaded to cloud backup only if you choose to sign in and back up.
  • Account information — if you use cloud backup, we use your Google or Apple sign-in to identify your account (such as your email) so we can store and restore your backup.
  • Advertising identifier — the app shows ads through Google AdMob, which may use your device’s advertising ID to serve ads.
  • Diagnostic & usage data — limited technical data (such as crash/diagnostic information) may be processed by our service providers to keep the app working.

We do not collect precise location or your contacts. A phone number you may optionally enter for an employee is kept only in your own records.

2. How we use information

  • To provide core features — logging work, estimating pay, statistics and the ledger.
  • To back up and restore your data when you sign in.
  • To show ads that support the free app.
  • To maintain, secure and improve the app.

3. Advertising

We use Google AdMob to display ads. AdMob may use your advertising ID and limited data to serve personalized or non-personalized ads. You can reset or limit your advertising ID in your device settings (Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads). See Google’s advertising policy.

4. How information is shared

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that operate the app:

  • Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore) — cloud backup and exchange-rate data.
  • Google AdMob — advertising.

These providers process data under Google’s Privacy Policy.

5. Data storage & security

Your records are stored on your device. If you enable cloud backup, they are stored in Google Firebase under your account. We use reasonable measures to protect your data, but no method of storage or transmission is 100% secure.

6. Your choices

  • Use the app without signing in — your data stays on your device only.
  • Sign out at any time to stop cloud backup.
  • Delete your data in the app, or uninstall the app to remove local data.
  • Reset or limit your advertising ID in your device settings.

7. Children

WorkPay is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region) and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

8. International users

The app is intended for users in the United States and other regions. Data may be processed by our providers (such as Google) on servers located in various countries.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date.

WorkPay does not provide tax, accounting, payroll or legal advice and is not a substitute for a professional. Use of the app is at your own discretion. 정확한 위치나 연락처는 수집하지 않습니다. 고용주 모드에서 직원에 대해 선택적으로 입력한 전화번호는 이용자 본인의 기록에만 보관됩니다.

2. 정보의 이용 목적

  • 핵심 기능 제공 — 근무 기록, 급여 추정, 통계, 가계부.
  • 로그인 시 데이터 백업 및 복원.
  • 무료 앱을 지원하는 광고 표시.
  • 앱 유지·보안·개선.

3. 광고

당사는 Google AdMob을 사용해 광고를 표시합니다. AdMob은 맞춤형 또는 비맞춤형 광고 제공을 위해 광고 ID와 제한된 데이터를 사용할 수 있습니다. 기기 설정에서 광고 ID를 재설정하거나 제한할 수 있습니다(Android: 설정 → 개인정보 보호 → 광고). Google 광고 정책을 참고하세요.

4. 정보의 공유

당사는 개인정보를 판매하지 않습니다. 앱 운영을 위한 서비스 제공자와만 데이터를 공유합니다.

  • Google Firebase(인증, Firestore) — 클라우드 백업 및 환율 데이터.

이들 제공자는 Google 개인정보처리방침에 따라 데이터를 처리합니다.

5. 저장 및 보안

WorkPay는 만 13세 미만(또는 거주 지역의 최소 연령) 아동을 대상으로 하지 않으며, 해당 아동의 개인정보를 고의로 수집하지 않습니다.

8. 해외 이용자

본 앱은 미국 및 기타 지역의 이용자를 대상으로 합니다. 데이터는 제공자(예: Google)에 의해 여러 국가에 위치한 서버에서 처리될 수 있습니다.

9. 변경

본 방침은 변경될 수 있으며, 중요한 변경은 새로운 시행일과 함께 본 페이지에 반영됩니다.
